Step 1: FIND SOMETHING TO BUY!
Of course the usual book purchases apply, but did you know that your purchases from the in-store Starbucks count (including coffee, pastry’s, and any other food items). You can also buy items from the CD/DVD section.
Step 2: COMPLETE YOUR PURCHASE.
If you are shopping in Costa Mesa, you just need to mention the Costa Mesa Library Foundation when you make your purchase. If you visit another B&N store in CA, make sure you print out a flyer ahead of time or can recite our bookfair ID (#10008878) by memory (bonus points for memorization!). Seriously, you can have your friends and family who live close to a B&N in another city help our cause by shopping with a flyer on the days of our event. Don’t need anything for yourself our a loved one? Buy a gift for a needy child and the Costa Mesa Library Foundation will donate your titles to a worth cause like SOS.
Step 3: REPEAT!
We know B&N may not be on your destination list everyday, but why not stop in for coffee one morning, a few books the next evening and slip some Christmas shopping in over the weekend.
Got Kids Ages 4-11? They boy do we have a treat for you. On Saturday, November 7th, notable children’s author, Gillian Lee Kutshing, will be sharing her latest stories from 2-3pm. This event will be held in the children’s section upstairs and should not be missed. This event would not be complete without Sparky the Wonder Fish.
